People should be more courageous in life. That’s the point, isn’t it? To actually live.

Also, creepy visitor is creepy. Watching Atonement. Only 20 minutes in, and kinda skeeved out. Just finished Easy Virtue. Nice light movie, good for an afternoon.

I really don’t have much to say, but thought that I would try to write anyway.

Meh.

I’m watching some How I Met Your Mother at Eric’s while he works. We put the tree up at mum’s today, and the little one here in the corner :) The colourful lights and ornaments make it cozy. Yay.

Last night was a lot of fun, a casual Saturday night in with some friends. We watched Outlander. That movie is…. weird. As B kept saying, “Space Jesus got shoes!” That morrowyn(?) was crazy looking.

I guess I don’t really have much to say I just wanted a quick post.

Good night.

So I love the new layout of the top bar thingy (so technical!) so I don’t have to dig through pages to make a new post. Much better. I’m just hanging out in the living room watching AFV while people do various things around here. I’ll get up and help mum make dinner in a moment, but first, amusing videos must be seen!

So, I haven’t really gotten any further on my sock. I frogged the problem section, and haven’t really done anymore. But! I did finish E’s scarf though. Two skeins of Patons Shetland chunky tweed (I believe, I don’t have the paper near me). Basic 2×2 rib, knit on bigger needles so it’s nice and squishy and awesome. Was sooo tempted to “forget” to give it to him. Bwaha. Now have started on some fingerless mitts for him in Cascade 220. Hopefully they come in handy this winter when he’s working. Then finally something for myself – I’ll be knitting the Owls sweater in a nice green. I just have to find 34 buttons for the owl eyes. eep.

Oh! I almost forgot. Playing through Halo ODST with M. Love it. I’m sure that has nothing to do with the voice actors, or the music, or the play… I’m sure it’s just the shooting…

Today is a cleaning day (boo), but I have to make up for the xbox day yesterday (Oh, Halo! It has been so long!). E got a huge flat screen tv (hdtv ftw), so of course I had to test it out with games! (bwahaha). I played Halo with R for a few hours while Eric worked, just plowing through co op campaign. After a while though, I just get sick of shooting things. I know, how can this be? But I like a little more adventuring sometimes. That’s why I love Fable 2 :) I finished the game months ago, but I am determined to get a million gold to buy Castle Fairfax. I’m about a tenth of the way there, not counting properties owned. I figure if I collect rent for a while, I can sell them and get moar monies! At least, that’s the theory. Hmm, I should totally start a gold tally each week or something… maybe. That would require planning and effort (omg!).

But yeah, still plugging away on WoW, though I stopped for a few months (no full time job = no playing for meez). Still only L21 ( I know I’m slow), but slowing getting up there! My Tauren Shaman is around L10, and joined a guild with a person from work. It doesn’t count as anti-social if you’re talking to people in-game, especially if you know them in RL :P

Oh hey, I almost forgot. My sock is looking like a sock now, though it looks like I might have to frog a few rows. It seems I got a bit carried away with my increasing and now it’s a little large… oops! So I can either felt it after and hope for the best, leave it as is and give it to mom because they’ll probably fit her, or go back and start that bit over again. I’m leaning towards the last one as I wants my pretties, but that’s an hour of stitching there I have to take out. *pout* Oh well, so it goes.

Okay, enough procrastinating for me… off to vacuum!

We’re cutting it close, I know, but December is definitely not the time to move. Future me, do not repeat! Bad idea!. We’re going back up to the apartment in a few to finish cleaning and collect the few randoms still left. Oh, and clean out the fridge. Can’t forget that. Unless the new people really like pickles.

Anyway, this is all kind of a pain in the ass, but at least some good will come out of it. Hopefully. Oh god please.

It’s been a long day, a long week, and neither are done yet. This month is taking its toll on me. Thing is, though, none of it has to do with christmas. That’s one thing I’m not worried about. I am worried about my two jobs and moving. Oh god I barely have time to breathe, let alone stay sane with all of this. It’s already the 18th and I’ve barely started packing. I won’t have time to give it a real go until Sunday, and who knows about next week. It’s too bad I can’t come down with a case of the vapors and get my fleet of servants to do everything for me. Ha. I wish. As it is, I have to make sure I don’t get sick for the third week running and bend time and space. That shouldn’t be too difficult, should it?

I’m not sure how many hours I am into Fable 2 so far, but I’m really enjoying it. The first Fable seems much more 2D compared to this one. I find I’m loving it a lot more than before. Yay Fable. Now, to play a bit more before B tries to take over the xbox for Fallout 3…

Today is a slow day. I feel as though I’m walking though molasses. All thoughts are slowed. It would be almost peaceful, if it wasn’t all because I was sick. Or at least, getting sick. I took a preemptive spoonful of Benylin earlier. Hopefully it will help me stop feeling this way.

Tuesday means exercise classes with C. I really don’t know if I have the energy for this today.

I’m watching Mona Lisa Smile. I love the movie, not because of Julia Roberts or any Big Name Actor, but because of the picture it paints. See, I have this thing for movies that depict a time I have never experienced. More so the past than the future. It’s this other-life lust that started my writing habit, back in the day. It’s the urge to live someone else’s life, even if only in your head and for but a moment. I imagine I can smell the musty scent of a library that has held its books for many years. I hear the footsteps down the narrow hallway, the laughter of students in their rooms, the furious scratching of pens on test papers. It only takes a moment to just…imagine.
